In principle this is a very good tool with a lot of potential, one you get a good hang of it. It would definitely help generate interest or set a context effectively. I can imagine it would work particularly well with Young Learners (YL), especially if they were given a chance to create their own strips. Adult ESOL learners may mot find it as enjoyable and meaningful though. Many of my learners have very limited computer skills and would find this experience quite frustrating... From the teacher's perspective - could be great aid, but fiddly and time consuming... I am not going to give up on it just yet though, ;-), hopefully the more I use it the easier it becomes!
